Eden Gardens

Situated on Choctawhatchee Bay, this beautiful southern plantation house was once owned and operated by the Wesley Family. In it's prime, the family used the bayou inlet to ship out lumber that was harvested from the local area, however, after the last of the family members died the house and property were put on the market. Years later a lady by the name of Lois Maxon found the property and restored it to its original grandeur. She used this backdrop to showcase her wonder collection of family heirlooms and antiques as well as developing the gardens in the estate to add color and style to the mansion. Afterwards, Miss Maxon donated the property to the State of Florida to preserve this piece of Florida's history for future generations. Today a volunteer group called the Friends of Eden develop and maintain the gardens for visitors from all over the southeastern region.

In this beautiful park, your family will have a timeless and classic setting for your portrait. The session time for Eden is in the morning and then you will have time afterwards to enjoy a house tour and picnic by the bay to complete your day. For clothing, I encourage you to wear similar colors (either all light or dark) and either formal or casual. For more information please send an email to me below or call (850) 269-2206.
